Hi, I'm Adam, a certified CNM and UKIHCA-Approved Health Coach, passionate about helping people with type 2 diabetes and prediabetes lead a healthier and happier life.
My journey to becoming a health coach specialising in type 2 diabetes is rooted in my own personal experience. Around six years ago I started becoming ill regularly and noticed my immune system was not what it used to be. When I visited my doctor about a chest infection, I informed him that I was regularly catching infections, when previously I'd rarely get ill. My GP booked in a blood test and informed me that I had high blood glucose levels, in the prediabetes range, which was likely compromising my immune system.
Over the years I had gained weight due to poor lifestyle habits, unhealthy food choices and a lack of regular physical activity.
The prediabetes diagnosis came as a shock. I quickly became obsessed with learning as much as I could about the condition, how I could reverse it naturally and prevent it from developing into type 2 diabetes.
Several months after my HbA1c blood test I managed to bring my blood glucose levels back to normal levels and I have stayed there ever since, without ever having taken any medication, through a healthier lifestyle and diet. I now feel healthy and energised.
My background is, after graduating from the London School of Economics (LSE), I worked in various sales & marketing roles and in the property sector. Eventually I become a professional landlord.
My own experience with prediabetes inspired me to become a certified Health Coach on a mission to help people with type 2 diabetes remission through bespoke coaching programmes .
